Overview

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for maximizing efficiencies in the sales processes and supervising the sales operations team to support the sales team in achieving company goals.

Key Responsibilities

Lead sales operations team
Streamline and optimize sales processes
Test and implement new processes or software for the sales team
Participate in monthly forecasting with sales team
Coordinate inbound inventory needs with Operations team
Collaborate with sales leadership and upper management to achieve organizational goals
Approving sales team expenses, sales team payroll and freight invoices in concur
Maintaining customer accounts in SAP and finalizing new vendor paperwork for accounts
Manage bank account changes and ACH set up for accounts
Admin status for major accounts, including new user set ups, approving deals and agreements
Issuing returns from customers, allowing product to be received back into inventory
Facilitate communication between departments and external sales representatives
Travel to trade shows and sales conventions as needed to support the sales team
Review open orders, track past dues and ad-hoc reporting for sales team and management
Other projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

People management experience
Demonstrates ability to manage projects and multiple tasks simultaneously
Possess leadership skills to evaluate team performance and coach team to improve performance
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and implement new processes
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive self-starter
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Understanding of the sales process and customer relationships
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
