As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide strategic operational leadership and will build commercial capacity in alignment with Swift’s culture, values, dream and focus.

Success in this role requires an understanding of where we are and how we will be best positioned for continued growth in both established and nascent business lines. This will require an understanding of our business, our customers, our competitive landscape, our differentiation and a vision for how best to align the team to drive sustained and accelerated growth.

You have deep, senior level commercial (Sales and Marketing) leadership experience within a health tech organization in the venture/growth stage. You have the ability to develop and execute business strategies and can easily adapt in an ever-changing environment to significantly increase revenue.

You are a passionate and empathetic leader with proven success in leading, inspiring, coaching and building teams to excel. You lead with the understanding that the health and wellbeing of your team is a top priority.

The Role In More Detail

Sales Leadership
Align profoundly with Swift’s culture to ensure the well-being and success of their team
Continue to build a world-class, channel-driven sales team
Work with the CEO to raise a series C financing and present succinctly to the board of directors
Partnership/Channel Sales Leadership
As a business who lives and dies by our channel partners, be able to programmatically drive our customers to support sales efforts across all business lines
Manage a team to grow and drive channels to maximum effect in supporting direct sales
Business Development
Be able to build a business development team that works with the CEO that builds new, future-forward partnerships that enforce our moats in key verticals
Build a new partnership ecosystem to accelerate the hospital space and continue to expand our partnership ecosystem in Home Health
Develop new partners inside of the manufacturing and payer space that will fuel growth and new business lines in 2023 and beyond
Direct Sales Leadership
Own a 2x YOY growth target across multiple healthcare verticals supported by channel relationships
Lead a team to success on our primary market, HH, driven by Channel
Hospital - build a new market here using advanced tactics, leveraging and building a new partnership ecosystem
Previous experience selling software to hospitals at scale
Ability to manage a hardware upsell
Expert at contracting with health care organizations, tactics with healthcare organizations, in DME/Manufacturing space and in payors - all a bonus
Marketing Leadership
Understand the critical role validations and brand play in supporting a health care sales set
Drive a team to build out highly-validated ROI to drive bookings, and targeted ROI-remarketing to ensure customers see value
Clinical and financial validations (and case studies) by care setting and by segment to drive awareness of proven outcomes in a targeted fashion that creates buying intent

What you have done to get where you are today:

A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in commercial management (“commercial” is defined as strategy, sales, marketing, pricing, and business development), preferably within a healthtech organization
Proven experience in a CCO or equivalent position
Proven experience in a scaling, venture-backed business will be an asset (driving new market development out to growth stage sales)
Masters’ degree in business administration or relevant field, MBA will be an asset
Progressive leadership, strategic and commercial (sales and marketing) experience ideally within a healthtech organisation
In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and performance/sales metrics
Exceptional interpersonal communication and team-building skills, with a commitment to building a positive and effective organizational culture
Knowledge of the North American market and experience selling to both US and Canadian markets with product offerings and sales channels similar to Swift’s software and devices
Solid financial foundation with an understanding of financial statements, business case development, and pricing structures
Excellent leadership skills and a proven ability to manage, lead and supervise a talented multidisciplinary team; can delegate effectively
Has successfully built, developed, mentored, and managed multi-functional groups/teams
Experience in digitally transforming operational processes and the client experience is considered an asset
