Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day workflow and operations of our U.S. tax and accounting firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth business operations, optimizing processes, and supporting the team in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services. Strong Excel skills are essential for data analysis, reporting, and workflow management.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations Management: Oversee and streamline day-to-day activities, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and other accounting services.
Workflow Coordination: Assign and monitor tasks, ensuring timely completion of client projects and regulatory filings.
Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and implement best practices to enhance productivity and accuracy.
Team Support: Work closely with tax preparers, accountants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
Data Management & Reporting: Utilize Excel to analyze data, generate reports, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Compliance & Deadlines: Ensure all tax and accounting processes meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for process improvement.
Effective communication and leadership skills to manage teams and coordinate tasks.
Ability to meet deadlines during peak tax seasons.
