We are a rapidly growing CleanTech business disrupting the heating industry with a new kind of low carbon boiler technology. Decarbonisation of domestic heating is the single biggest challenge facing the UK’s goal to reach Net Zero.

We have invented a new type of low carbon heating technology which is quickly becoming a game changer in the drive to decarbonise domestic heating. It’s called a ZEB ® (Zero Emission Boiler) and is a plug ‘n’ play replacement for a gas or oil boiler. It uses electricity to ‘charge’ ultra-high density thermal storage. The ZEB is automatically able to find the cheapest and the greenest times of day, depending on the carbon intensity of your local electricity supply, and then make sure it is consuming that electricity at the cheapest time, storing it as heat until you need it for your house. It operates like a normal boiler for our customers, is easy to install and massively reduces the carbon emissions from heating.

About The Role

We are looking for a Sales Operations Lead to join the team. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales organisation. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing processes, tools, and strategies that enable our sales teams, network of installers and the wider business to excel. You will be managing CRM, sales funnels, metrics and reporting. You will collaborate closely with the leadership team to drive revenue growth, streamline operations, and improve the customer journey.

You will work directly for the Chief Commercial Officer, with the opportunity to support them with a wide range of other activities to support the development, strategy and growth of the commercial team

Requirements

Full-time employee to start at the earliest available date
Location: Hybrid or Remote
Manage the CRM system to ensure efficient workflows and automations and that leads are being properly managed through the customer journey
Analyse and optimise the end-to-end sales process and sales funnel to increase productivity and revenue generation (B2C, B2B2C and partnership / affiliate). Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
Work with the leadership team to develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals, objectives and target customers. Provide data-driven insights to drive decision-making
Develop and maintain sales performance metrics and KPIs for Board level reporting. Regularly analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, working with the sales team to understand feedback from the frontline
Generate accurate sales forecasts and reports for senior management. Provide insights into pipeline health and revenue projections
Work closely with marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication between teams
Build and lead a high-performing sales operations function that can become a key enabler of our ambitious growth plans
There will be a whole range of opportunities to get involved with other aspects of the business depending on your interests. This could include supporting strategy or identifying and evaluating potential new markets, segments, and opportunities for business development

About you

Proven experience in both B2C and B2B sales operations or a related role, preferably in the energy or heating industry
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools. Ideally significant experience with Hubspot - reporting, pipeline management and workflow development
Strong IT, analytical & problem solving skills
Highly organised with attention to detail, planning and tracking progress of key projects & deliverables
Demonstrated ability to drive results, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
A passion for sustainability and a commitment to promoting environmentally-friendly products
