Vacancy: Sales Operations Manager

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per year plus commission from sales

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: In-person, based in Bracknell, Berkshire

Purpose of the job role:

To support the Head of Sales in the management of the domestic sales team ensuring that the team meet the performance and administrative standards required.

Develop new and improve existing sales protocols within the sales team to maximise the productivity of the team.

Increase sales volumes through team management and personal effort.

Responsible to: Head of Sales

Key Responsibilities

Domestic Sales Team

Manage the sales enquiries to ensure that the sales team make best use of all the enquiries, ensuring sales appointments are booked promptly and sales quotes are expedited in a timely manner. Confirm every quote is properly followed up all the time.
Help improve sales team members productivity through efficient use of time and resources
Ensure compliance with the established reporting and administrative disciplines.
Take responsibility for domestic sales contract revisions, working with the sales and survey teams and clients to enable the efficient processing of work through to production.
Help develop and execute training plans for new and existing sales team members.
When required, deal with potential client price enquiries, send out budget quotes and supply only quotes – follow these up and either assign to the sales team or make sales.
Manage Sales Samples and all sales collateral
Manage the showroom
Manage Integrate issues on behalf of the sales team including price files
Recruit and train new sales representatives as and when necessary

Commercial Sales

Help the Head of Sales with the administration of commercial quotes
Help with the development of new commercial business

General

Work closely with the survey, production and installation departments within the company to assist them in the smooth execution of work
Take responsibility for all aspects of sales administration
To assist in other areas of the business if reasonably required to do so

Key Skills

Excellent people management skills with experience of managing a remote (ideally sales) team
Comfortable working independently but also a team player
Willing to learn and understand the details of window and door joinery
Customer focused with good telephone and interpersonal skills
Highly organised with excellent communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft applications and comfortable with technology
Drive and determination with high standards
