Position Overview

Thinktiv seeks a Sales Operations Strategist to support our rapidly growing Growth team. In this role, you will partner with Thinktiv’s Growth leaders to manage the process and systems of our business development efforts.

You will be entrusted with driving deliverables that are critical to the success of our business. Primarily, you will identify, strategize, and track new business opportunities, and develop research and materials for landing deals.

You will be given autonomy to improve our processes and deliverables based on data-driven insights, and goals towards continually making everything we do better, faster, and more successful.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be self-motivated, persistent, diligent, and accountable. You will need to operate with autonomy, be confident in making decisions without heavy oversight, and be creative and discerning when coming up with solutions.

Core Responsibilities

CRM

Work with Thinktiv Growth team to build a CRM and establish processes to support a quickly growing Business Development outfit
Support requests, inquiries, and training from Growth team on CRM processes and other sales tools
Serve as main point of contact in maintaining CRM and creating accountability with Growth team members in keeping information up to date
Support ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and insight-building requests

Sales Strategy and Materials

Research potential sales leads and develop pipeline of opportunities
Conduct pre-meeting research and help team understand strategies for each sales opportunity
Prepare sales materials including decks, demos, videos, white papers
Create and maintain visibility on all the materials available to sales team to identify most relevant content for each engagement
Track down updates from sales meetings, record, and own next steps or action items
Coordinate and schedule outreach opportunities
Identify networking and promotion events and opportunities for sales team
Own end-to-end tracking of sales funnel and metrics, and deliver insights to the business
Keep an eye out in publications, newsletters, and communities for content that will help sales team create stronger relationships with clients
Coordinate closing legal documents and maintain procurement records

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of professional experience in sales, business development, sales operations, or customer-facing roles
Demonstrated CRM proficiency (specific to Hubspot)
Demonstrated design and copywriting proficiency (specific to Powerpoint)
3 professional references
Please be prepared for an interview that consists of operating live within a CRM and Powerpoint/Google Slides to demonstrate skill level
