Position Overview:

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for the processes, tools, and technologies that support the sales and marketing teams. The goal of the Sales Operations Manager is to enhance sales effectiveness and productivity. To do that, sales operations will smooth out processes, make better use of numbers and research, gives sales reps what they need to make pitches, and performs a variety of other functions. The duties range from providing guidance about market trends, to developing resources and tracking long term sales data from available sources. The Sales Operations Manager establishes pricing structure and models for TPMC products and coordinates CSR activities among all TPMC sites. Evaluating the data and marketing strategy and making recommendations for procedures and performance improvements.

Major Duties and Requirements:

Manage internal CSR teams at all TPMC facilities.

Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization.

Generates and distributes regular reports to the sales organization, and to management, detailing shipment history, profitability, revenue, margins, and backlog health.

Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in pricing and quoting efforts. Continuously evaluates pricing methods and defines areas for improvement.

Coordinates general business planning activities with operations, finance, quality, and engineering.

Works to ensure customer service organization objectives related to quote response time, order response time and general customer service are assigned and met in a timely fashion.

Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement.

Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.

Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies and works collaboratively to address these.

Facilitates a culture of continuous process improvement within the customer service and sales teams.

Assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.

Builds peer support and strong internal – company relationships with other key management personnel.

Travel up to 20% - Some international travel possible.

Experience and/or Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business or Engineering

2 to 5 years of experience required.

Requirements:

Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Leadership skills.

Strong organizational skills with effective time management skills.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Proficient with the use of Microsoft products and previous experience using sales database tracking programs.

In-depth knowledge of pricing and costing methodologies for manufactured goods.

Customer Focused to exceed customer’s expectations while meeting internal guidelines and objectives.

Strong financial and analytical skills in a manufacturing environment.

High comfort level in diverse environments.

Ability to work over multiple time zones.

Inside or external sales experience is preferred.

New product development and/or program management experience is preferred.

A competitive compensation package including base salary, potential for bonus based on performance, health insurance, and 401k will be available to the qualified applicant.

Pay: $70,783.00 - $82,313.00 per year
