About the Role

We are looking to hire an experienced, masterful and visionary CRO that believes in renewable energy and our company’s product offerings. The CRO spearheads and oversees Torus’ residential and commercial revenue streams, rev ops, digital, demand and ensures a world class customer experience. The CRO reports to the CEO, optimizes our company operating capabilities, employs strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, manages revenue operations and teams up with management and business leaders to implement long-term business strategies and best practices.

To ensure success you should have a clear understanding of our company’s core values, mission and culture. Top candidates will be exemplary leaders, have superb business acumen, experience working in start-up environments and have a sound understanding of business strategies, especially as it relates to revenue operations, demand gen and customer success. Candidates have experience in direct to consumer and understand large scale utility sales motion.

Responsibilities

As CRO, you will be responsible to sell multi-product lines and spearhead large-scale organizational rapid growth, lead strategic initiatives and implement, communicate and support strategies created by the CEO and other senior executives.

Requirements

10+ years of work experience in related field and professional background
BS in finance, marketing, engineering or related field
Advanced degree preferred

Experience You’ll Need

Successful track record of moving from early stage startup to late stage venture
Proven background in scaling revenue ($2M to $400M)
Coverage Modeling, compensation strategy and planning
Strong negotiation skills
Skilled in producing demand gen for early stage startup
Expertise in the renewable energy space, specifically in electrical systems, electrical technology and large scale utility
Proficient and experienced in selling both hardware and software solutions
Experience building and running digital and field sales motion
Understand, share and execute on vision to get a product to market
Demonstrated experience of ethical and inclusive leadership; success building culture-centric teams
Proven track record of outstanding performance in previous roles
Superb verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
Subject matter expert in related fields
Previous iOT, hardware, software and firmware knowledge
Ability to make business projections three years into the future
Experience managing multiple complex budgets
