General Purpose:

The Director, National Channel Development will participate in the sales and operations associated with the Channel Division to ensure management and profitability. Director, National Channel Development will focus on growing their assigned Technology Solutions Brokers(TSB) & Master Agents and to help them expand into new markets; by working with existing partners, whom we already have existing relationships and contracts.

Reports to (Supervisor/Manager):

This individual works under the supervision and direction of the Senior Director National Channel development.

Direct Reports:

Oversight of development and growth of TSB/Master Agent Relationships of the Channel Team across the country.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with key new and existing TSB/Master Agents.
Overall Responsible for Contractual Terms entered into between Company and TSB/Master Agent and responsible for ensuring compliance by both TPx and Master Agent.
Track to the revenue targets on a monhtly basis and report out quarterly.
Based on results, provide outlook forecast to Finance on a quarterly basis.
Identify new Revenue opportunities and work with Marketing/Business Development to develop the opportunity/product.
Provide critical information and reports to Executive Management that can be used to guide decisions to support the Company’s goals, objectives, and strategies.
Provide employees andTSB/Master Agents within the Channel division information and the necessary tools/guidance to achieve the desired performance.
Work across departments to ensure the needs/requirements of the Channel division are available and to ensure appropriate regulatory and other compliance are communicated and in place.

Perform competitive analysis and market research and drive corresponding changes in products offerings and positioning – constantly review the marketplace for refinements and new opportunities.

Work with Marketing on sales campaigns.
Work with local channel sales directors to align properly in each market with TSB/Master Agents.

Desired Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Business, Management, Marketing or Telecom.
MBA or equivalent business experience, preferred.
Seven (7) years of experience in voice/data telecommunications industry.
Exposure to the Channel segment and experience delivering solutions that target these segments.
Superior marketing skills including the ability to frame the unique selling proposition and track record of delivering effective marketing strategies or profitable product lines.
Understanding of telecommunications, data, and securitytrends, their products and services, their technologies and their impact on business strategies.
Experience handling multiple deliverables, developing strong interdepartmental relationships and managing cross-functional tasks.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent oral, presentation and written communications skills.
Good analytical skills and comfortable with quantitative analysis – take a creative, yet pragmatic approach to problem solving.
