In 2022, we acquired a company that facilitates probate directly with consumers - the legal process of settling an estate when someone dies, and the business is strong and growing quickly. We are very excited to expand our team with an experienced & dynamic sales leader for the next stage of the journey. As the Senior Sales Manager leading our Probate Consultations team, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies & processes, and managing the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets in a remote environment. You are not only comfortable, but motivated and excited by the challenges that arise in scaling a startup within a startup, and have the strong leadership skills, sales acumen, and cross-functional chops to move sales initiatives across the finish line.

This is a mid-level position reporting directly to the Head of Operations with room for growth.

You Will:

Set clear sales targets and objectives for individuals and the team, and help drive productivity to exceed goals through taking sales calls yourself, coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team that leans into Trust & Will’s core values.
Become an expert in the complex world of probate to help teach the Consultations team on an ongoing basis.
Obsess over how our offerings provide value to the members we are serving & create a culture of standing in our members' shoes within the team.
Act as a player/coach for sales team, meaning contributing individually on an as-needed basis.
Develop sales forecasts and targets in collaboration with senior management. Monitor sales performance, analyze variances, and take corrective actions to ensure sales goals are achieved.
Prepare regular sales reports and present them to the management team.
Continuously evaluate and improve the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and conversion.
Implement effective sales methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to streamline sales operations.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts and maximize revenue generation within the boundaries of what we can legally offer.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a five star member experiences and maintain a unified company image.

About You:

5+ years of proven experience as a sales manager at a high-growth startup or related industry.
Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
Knowledge of sales methodologies and techniques.
Familiarity with Hubspot and other sales operations tools.
Proven ability to analyze sales metrics & data and make informed decisions to exceed sales goals.

Our salary range for this position is $115,000 - $140,000 base with OTE $200,000+
