Director of Sales Operations

The Director of Sales Operations will lead our Sales Operations team. This pivotal role will be responsible for optimizing our sales processes, driving efficiency, and developing strategic initiatives that directly contribute to revenue growth. The sales ops team is a diverse team and plays a critical role in shaping the future of our sales organization.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of five, including:
Sales Administrators/Coordinators who provide essential administrative support to enhance sales team efficiency.
Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) focused on lead generation and qualification.
Small Opportunities Coordinators responsible for managing and closing deals under $25K.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment within the Sales Operations team.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide continuous feedback and coaching.
Strategic Vision and Development:
Develop and articulate a clear vision for how Sales Operations can further contribute to the overall efficiency and revenue growth of the sales team.
Identify and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to streamline sales workflows and improve productivity.
Collaborate with sales leadership to align Sales Operations initiatives with broader company goals.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee the administration and optimization of our CRM (Referred to as “Oz”) and other sales-related technologies.
Develop and maintain sales reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights to sales leadership.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast performance, and recommend improvements.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within all sales systems.
Collaborate on creation and maintenance of sales incentive programs, including commission plan administration and quota setting.
Streamline the small deal sales process to maximize conversion rates and efficiency for deals under $25K.
Implement best practices for lead generation and qualification to ensure a healthy sales pipeline.
Support sales enablement initiatives by providing necessary tools, training, and resources.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
Proven track record of building and scaling Sales Operations functions.
Deep expertise in CRM systems and sales tech stack.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing sales process improvements that lead to measurable results.
