The Process Improvement Specialist will work closely with the Automation Analyst to identify, analyze, and improve operational processes across our e-commerce operations. This role will focus on streamlining workflows, eliminating bottlenecks, and enhancing efficiency through automation and process enhancements. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with a strong understanding of e-commerce operations and a passion for driving operational excellence.

Job Functions

Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current operational processes and identify areas for improvement to create future-state processes.
Collaborate with the Automation Analyst to identify tools for future-state automations.
Conduct process analysis and develop recommendations to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
Work with cross-functional teams to document and standardize processes, ensuring consistency and scalability.
Identify opportunities for automation and collaborate with the Automation Analyst to implement suitable automation tools and technologies.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify process bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Lead process improvement initiatives, including project planning, execution, and tracking of results.
Facilitate process improvement workshops and training sessions for teams to enhance process understanding and adoption.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure process changes align with business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in e-commerce operations and process improvement methodologies.
Provide regular progress reports and updates to management on process improvement initiatives.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field.

Experience

3+ years of experience in process improvement, operations management, or a similar role, preferably within the e-commerce industry.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Solid understanding of e-commerce operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and customer service.
Familiarity with automation tools and technologies, and their application in process improvement.
Proficiency in process mapping and documentation, utilizing tools such as flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, and process models.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Strong communication skills with a proven ability to effectively communicate to various audiences
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong work ethic
Comfortable with autonomy and is self-motivated
Ability to use a personal computer. Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
