The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about sales success and has helped grow revenue through leading Sales Operations at a rapidly expanding B2B service company before. They appreciate the need to bring analysis, creativity and process-efficiency to enable ongoing tactical and strategic sales success. They love diving deep into data but have an ability to see beyond the numbers to structure recommendations and drive sound decision-making. They are a visionary, but practical leader. They have a track record of collaborating with and influencing leaders in other areas of the business.

Position Oveview

The Vice President of Sales Operations will work closely with Sales and Executive leadership to develop and optimize go-to-market strategy, processes, systems and infrastructure that boost Sales productivity and efficiency, enabling Valicor to accelerate organic revenue growth. The Vice President is a key leadership role who will directly manage the Sales Operations and Marketing teams, and report to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage sales forecasting, planning, reporting, as well as compensation design and strategic analysis with expectations of high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency.
Drive annual planning process across the commercial organization by line of business and region, including revenue modeling, territory planning, and compensation design, in close partnership with cross-functional leadership.
Drive Sales productivity through developing and optimizing processes and systems.
Deliver core business metrics, reporting and analytics, including pipeline, lead funnel, churn, and average selling price analysis.
Develop new strategies that allow Valicor to increase revenue and meet sales targets, including pricing structures, cross selling and bundling product offerings, and create capex project market analysis and revenue models.
Collaborate with Valicor’s Line of Business group to ensure the sales team is properly trained to present and bundle products in an accurate, consultative, and solution-based manner to achieve growth objectives.
Provide overall leadership and day to day management of Sales Operations and Marketing team members.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree or MBA preferred
10+ years’ experience with 5+ years as a Sales Operations leader in a business-to-business sales environment
Proven ability to lead and scale Sales Operations of significant scope through growth periods
Expert proficiency in CRM systems, processes, and design optimization projects
Deep experience with Business Intelligence (BI) applications (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, or fanatical Excel user)
Demonstrated ability to design and implement sales processes and infrastructure
Results orientated with strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives while meeting aggressive deadlines
