Manage and lead the efficient and profitable operations of the Vantage Sales and Customer Service teams across all Vantage sites. Lead key strategic projects to improve the customer experience, create a more efficient organization, and drive sales results. Partner with the field (external) Vantage sales team to improve quote-to-order conversion rates and reduce overall project complexity and lead time. Design lean business processes and key metrics to track success. Implement strategy, business process, and logistics pertaining to product distribution throughout multiple channels (direct from the factory, network of Regional Service Centers) to meet client needs. Track standard metrics of inside sales and estimating teams to maximize customer service to internal and external customers.

Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with:

Proven track record leading effective sales and customer service organizations
15 or more years of relevant business experience in a complex organization, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
Highly competent in management methods and techniques
Strong client-facing and communication skills, experience in leading customer service and sales teams
Ability to think strategically and to lead change
Deep understanding of best-in-class customer service reporting & metrics
Awareness of elevator industry’s latest technology trends and applications
Experience supporting e-commerce distribution
Experience supporting implementation of key software tools and accompanying business practices to improve efficiency (e.g. CRM)
Proficiency in with customer service software, databases, and tools including:
- MS Office Suite
- CPQ Systems
- Visual ERP
- Salesforce
- Tableau

Duties And Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

Day-to-Day Leadership
- Improve customer service experience, create engaged clients, and facilitate organic growth through strong relationships with customers and consultants
- Develop and implement service procedures, policies, and standards for a consistent customer experience using best practices in line with industry standards
- Support and develop key customer relationships
- Coordinate inside sales and order fulfillment efforts with sales management, production, finance, engineering, and technical service groups
- Take ownership of escalated customers' issues and follow problems through to resolution
- Implement key performance metrics and KPIs that are tracked and managed regularly
- Recruit, mentor, and develop team and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment
- Design standard onboarding and training materials
- Sales Operations (process improvement, “customer first” cultural change, system connectivity etc.) at VDI, Courion, RSC’s ( Regional Service Centers) GAL-C ( GAL- Canada )
Long Term Strategy
- Create greater partnership and coordination between Vantage operating sites to drive and support increased cross-selling of Vantage products
- Partner with business leadership to implement strategy for inside sales and customer service functions across Vantage
- Work with Regional Service Centers to ensure proper distribution and inventory control for local customers
- Assist in CPQ (“Configure, Price, Quote”) software implementation to increase efficiency and standardization, and ease of customer ordering by way of implementing e-commerce solutions
- Lead strategic commercial projects such as online ordering and customer portal integration

Other
- Participate in and lead aspects of Vantage Commercial strategy and operations
- Present strategy and results to Vantage Executive Leadership team
