As the Chief Revenue Officer at Venti Technologies, you will play a foundational role, driving the company’s sales, business development, and overall revenue growth. You will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive revenue strategy, expanding market presence, and fostering key partnerships to enhance Venti’s solution competitiveness. Your leadership and strategic vision will be instrumental in achieving the company's financial objectives and driving sustainable growth.

Role Responsibilities

Revenue Generation Strategy

Develop and execute a robust revenue generation strategy aligned with the company's goals and market conditions
Identify new revenue opportunities, market segments, and product/service offerings to drive business growth
Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify strategic opportunities

Sales & Business Development Leadership

Build and lead a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets
Define sales goals, develop sales strategies, and establish performance metrics
Implement effective sales processes and provide guidance and coaching to the sales team
Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to expand the company's scope
Develop and nurture relationships with stakeholders, potential clients, industry influencers, and partners
Evaluate and negotiate business contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions

Go-to-Market Strategy

Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for new products/services, ensuring successful market entry and adoption
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, operations, etc.) to align go-to-market plans and drive successful execution

Revenue Management

Monitor and analyse revenue performance, identifying areas of improvement and implementing corrective measures
Establish pricing strategies, revenue models, and sales forecasting methodologies
Monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics to optimize revenue generation opportunities
Prepare regular reports and presentations on revenue performance, market trends, and business growth opportunities
Conduct financial analysis, including revenue forecasting, profitability assessments, and risk management.
Hybrid Software-and-Hardware Business Demonstrated experience in a hybrid Software-and-Hardware business
Familiarity with the challenges and dynamics of selling and scaling both software and hardware solutions
Proven ability to develop and execute revenue strategies that align with the unique requirements of a hybrid business model

Required Experience

Bachelor's degree in technology; MBA preferred.
Proven experience (15 years+) in a senior leadership role driving revenue growth in a hybrid/enterprise

software and hardware business

Strong track record of sales success, business development, and market expansion
Deep understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and closing large-scale (US$30 million+) deals
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to formulate and execute revenue strategies
Powerful analytical and financial acumen, facile with data and data-based decisions
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for disruptive technologies and innovative business models
