The VP Key Accounts, Eastern region - is accountable for developing and implementing sales strategy, sales teams/processes and achieving sales revenue targets across all sales channels including key account and strategic dealer sales, account management, sales training, and sales operations/administration for the specified key accounts in assigned area. Establishes and implements strategies that have short to mid-term (1-3 years) impact on business results. Develops short to mid-term plans for optimizing the function, and the talent required to execute strategies in job area working in partnership with Rep Agents. Specific activities include planning, developing, and delivering the sales strategy for products/services and associated brands; evaluating, measuring, and managing the product/brand P&L (e.g., budgeting, expenditures, profitability, return-on-investment, etc.); ensuring product volume/profit targets are met. Relationships to include key customers - both key strategic dealers, and specific targeted chain accounts.

Reporting directly to the SVP Sales - Americas, this position is based in New Port Richey, FL but can be located remotely in the US; Eastern Region, preferred.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY:

Responsible for sales activities and growth for assigned key accounts and strategic dealers in assigned area.
Lead execution of sales/customer strategies in compliance with policies and processes and procedures of the business.
Build/strengthen relationships with key internal and external business partners to deliver industry leading solutions for customers.
Develop/build relationships with assigned accounts for the Welbilt portfolio.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Develops/Executes defined sales policies, processes and procedures consistently across the region.
Builds relationship with key business partners (buying groups, dealers, consultants, authorized servicers, factories).
Develops sales strategies and tactics and leads execution towards delivery of financial targets/objectives.
Develops annual sales plan with regional/individual targets.
Provides regular and ongoing Interface with Product Management, Marketing, Culinary, FITKitchen, and Aftermarket Service to develop and deliver solutions to customers.
Responds diligently to issues and questions from assigned customer accounts.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree: preferably in Business, Marketing or relevant field, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in Global Accounts; extensive sales and commercial experience and chain accounts is required.
Will consider a minimum of 19 years of experience in Global Accounts; extensive sales and commercial experience and chain accounts in lieu of degree.

Skills and Abilities:

Industry knowledge, negotiation skills, communication skills, business/financial acumen, Microsoft Office software.
Technically adept at using Microsoft Office programs and communicating via cell and email.
Strategic thinking capability; articulate communication skills (written and verbal).
Extensive experience and comfort with public speaking and presentations.
Well-developed business perspective based on multi-chain experiences.
Problem-solving talent and an eye for innovation.

Working conditions:

Ability to travel up to 75% of the time is required.
Ability to work non-traditional business hours (early am/late pm meetings) with customers or at events.
Remote communication via cell, laptop, PDAs essential.
Weekend work expected.
Incumbent is regularly required to talk, hear and speak with clear diction and is frequently required to sit for extended periods.
Extended standing during customer visits required.
Must be able to lift 50-70 lbs.
