About Sales Operations:
Sales Order Management involves a comprehensive approach to handling customer orders from start to finish. This includes everything from creating and tracking orders to shipping and delivering them according to customer specifications.
This process is vital to Delta-Q's Sales Operations, ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently, enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting business growth.
Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to lead the Sales Operations team, overseeing daily order communication with account managers and customers. The role focuses on improving processes and aligning with company goals and values. It ensures the highest level of customer service while coordinating and managing customer orders. This position requires cross-functional engagement across internal operations, finance, engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Specific Duties:
- Professionally handles order-related customer inquiries and escalations
- Leads the day-to-day activity of the Sales Operations team, ensuring orders are received and processed accordingly, along with customer communication
- Manages process flows, automation, and improvements to scale the business and achieve company objectives
- Works alongside Planning and Logistics to ensure alignment on communication, processes, and metrics
- Exercises due diligence to maintain the accuracy of customer transactions
- Escalates with the Sales team on customer line downs or customer issues as required
- Handles issues in the best interest of both the customer and Delta-Q
- Manages and contributes to key cross-functional activities
- Helps drive order management KPIs and reporting requirements for Management and Sales teams
- Drives the development of the Sales Operations team, focusing on performance, processes, and workload requirements
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven relevant work experience, preferably in a sales operation or inside sales role
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Anticipates customer needs and takes action proactively
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven leadership skills with experience leading others
- Proficient organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Works well independently; plans and allocates their own time efficiently
- Demonstrates solid decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and Outlook
- Experience with SAP, Sage, MAS100, and Sage Inventory Advisor

Benefits
Base Salary: $72,000 - $85,000 per year plus bonus.
The compensation offered will be determined by experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
