What to Expect
The Fleet & Sales Operations Specialist will support the Sales Operation team in AUNZ, which is focused on driving sales and delivery growth through strategic initiatives, best practices, standardisation and optimisation. You will play a key role in streamlining internal and external communications, collaborating with relevant teams and stakeholders to address growth challenges, and partnering with the team on projects that is beneficial to our customers and field teams across the market.
The role requires an analytically minded individual with superior problem solving skills, self-motivation, and agility to prioritise and shift focus as needed.
This role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne head office.
What You'll Do-
Support the allocation and cycle timing of our operating fleet of test drive, display and service loaner vehicles and manage day-to-day Fleet operations and reporting, ensuring internal stakeholders maintain visibility.

Responsible for working cross functionally with our internal stakeholders to provide visibility into location, status, utilisation, and allocation information for assigned vehicles. Provide prompt and collaborative communications with field employees, serving as their headquarters partner for all vehicle needs.

Work with key business units to manage the order to vehicle matching process. Maintain visibility on all Tesla owned and operated vehicles in fleet, ensuring compliance with insurance and registration.

Manage faults, damage, accident reporting and insurance of inventory vehicles, ensuring prompt resolutions to minimise downtime.

Support and drive fleet-related initiatives, coordinate timely follow-up and consolidate insights for best outcomes.

Assist with periodic physical inventory Fleet Audits.

Ensure fleet operations across the market are aligned with HQ directives and that global processes are localised to align with market requirements.

Work with key stakeholders to optimise the allocation of both customer & inventory vehicles across multiple ports in Australia and New Zealand.

Provide daily operational support to the Sales Operations team.

Provide project and administration support to Program team.

Collate key business analytics to support and guide local field teams.

Identify potential enhancements to our processes / tools that will facilitate growth.

Support Sales and Delivery team metrics by providing and monitoring C-SAT

Provide support to programs team to deliver on key projects and initiatives.

Work with key stakeholders to support with the development and implementation of best practices for field and customer communication.
What You'll Bring-
Currently studying or recently completed a tertiary qualification, applicants from a business, communication and commerce background are preferred

Must be detail oriented, possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Basic knowledge and working experience of SQL required

Evidence of strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Ability to work across multiple platforms and systems, must be proficient in Microsoft Excel

Driven and enthusiastic with a genuine interest and passion for Tesla’s mission

Knowledge of Python is beneficial
