Job Overview
We are in search of a forward-thinking and accomplished Chief Operating Officer (COO) to spearhead our day-to-day operations while collaborating closely with the CEO and the National Board of Directors. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct daily operations, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.

- Provide continuous support to the executive leadership team in critical business decisions while managing risks and resources efficiently.
- Cultivate a transparent and engaging organizational culture through active communication of strategic goals and ensuring alignment among all teams.
- Mentor and guide teams on business planning, risk management, and organizational effectiveness.
- Supervise fiscal management, ensuring performance aligns with annual budgets and long-term financial projections.
- Contribute actively to fundraising initiatives and resource development to further support the mission.
- Represent the organization within local communities, enhancing its public image and fostering engagement.
- Serve as Secretary to the Board, acting as the primary liaison between the Board and executive leadership.
- Plan and facilitate Board meetings, collaborating with the CEO and leadership team to ensure informed and effective decision-making.
- Support the Board's strategic growth and governance functions, ensuring compliance with bylaws and nonprofit regulations.
- Partner with the Chief Finance & Strategy Officer to develop tools and systems that provide the Board with essential financial and operational insights.
- Manage administrative functions related to the Board, including governance, documentation, and policy compliance.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Nonprofit Management, or a related discipline (Advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in nonprofit management, demonstrating familiarity with governance, fundraising, and operational leadership.
