JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Operations Analyst to drive sales analytics and reporting for our growing organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in sales performance metrics, operational efficiency, and analytical tools, coupled with an ability to collaborate across departments and streamline processes. This role will focus on analyzing and optimizing key sales metrics to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze dashboards to monitor critical sales KPIs such as sales pipeline analysis, win-loss ratios, Annual Contract Value (ACV), cost of sales, and customer acquisition cost (CAC).
- Sales Reporting: Deliver actionable insights through in-depth analysis of sales trends, revenue forecasts, and performance variances to support business objectives.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Track and analyze the sales funnel to identify bottlenecks, forecast opportunities, and provide insights for improved lead conversion rates.
- Sales Commission Computation: Calculate and validate sales commissions, ensuring timely and accurate payouts in alignment with sales incentive plans.
- Revenue Analysis: Conduct analysis on recurring revenue streams and key revenue drivers to enhance forecasting accuracy and drive operational efficiency.
- Collaboration with Finance and Sales Teams: Partner with the finance and sales teams to align sales and financial strategies, optimize cost efficiency, and ensure alignment of goals.
- Process Improvement: Establish and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sales reporting and analytics to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Salesforce/CRM Expertise: Leverage tools like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms to enhance reporting, optimize CRM utilization, and streamline workflows.
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS
- Education: MBA preferred, with a focus on Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or other CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an added advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Key Expertise Areas:
- Sales KPI tracking and reporting.
- Commission and incentive plan management.
- Pipeline and revenue analysis.
- Budget variance and forecasting in sales contexts.
