We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full-Time Controller to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in shaping our financial strategy and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial and accounting activities for the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and financial records.
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing leadership and support.
- Collaborate with senior management to assess financial performance and provide strategic recommendations.
- Prepare tax filings and coordinate audits.
- Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and manage working capital.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
