Role Overview / Responsibilities:
InProduction is seeking a strategic and high-impact Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and driving business growth. This individual will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of InProduction, providing operational leadership and helping drive the execution of key initiatives alongside other members of the executive team. Additionally, the CFO will be responsible for the following:
- Actively contribute to the commercial and strategic goals of the Company by collaborating with the CEO and Board to execute the Company’s operating and growth strategies.
- Develop and implement the budget and a robust strategic financial plan, in alignment with InProduction’s growth priorities
- Oversee all aspects of accounting and finance, including the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly and annual management / board financial reporting, budget variance and reforecasting
- Implement a core set of operating KPIs across the business and evaluate the performance of the Company against these goals and success metrics. Drive the use of financial measures to implement transparency and improvements in efficiency, productivity, and cost structures
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including treasury and cash management, and relationships with external financial advisors
- Maintain relationships with financing sources on a monthly and quarterly basis, including certification of customary reporting and compliance; ensure sound cash flow planning processes
- Implement and enhance finance, ERP, accounting and control systems, processes, and business intelligence tools to increase reporting efficiency
- Lead annual audit process with external auditors and coordinate with Board around annual audit process
- Lead tax planning, preparation, and reporting for the Company
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all financial functions
- Develop financial analysis and models that support decision-making across pricing, contract negotiations, equipment investments and other operational areas
- Maintain outstanding relationships and strategic alliances with external vendors and business partners
- Build highly productive and positive working relationships with other Executive Team members and proactively seek to support and enable their success
- Provide strong and energizing leadership to the Company and be perceived as an approachable and enthusiastic contributor
- Lead coordination with legal counsel on customer / vendor contract forms and negotiations
- Support any M&A processes the Company is involved in through financial analysis and post-closing integration
Qualifications:
- Prior CFO experience at PE-backed Company required
- Experience leading and building a finance team
- Experience with PE acquisitions / exits
- Experience leading Company financings or capital raises
- Experience with project-based revenue recognition and accounting is highly valued
- Has extensive background working with various financing partners, complex capital structures, and financing documentation
- Corporate development and/or strategy experience is highly valued
- M&A experience and leadership is highly valued
- Experience at organizations with greater than $100mm in Revenue
- An understanding of and experience in negotiating insurance policies is highly valued
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills
- Effective planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Leadership skills with the ability to delegate, motivate and inspire team members
- Demonstrate a high level of business acumen
- Engage with staff at all levels of the organization and exercise sound judgement
- Possess solutions-oriented mindset, strong stakeholder management skills, change management expertise and strategic thinking skills
- A team player, enthusiastic, energetic, proactive, responsive, innovative, service-driven, and effectively anticipates and prioritizes work and meets deadlines
- Ability to build and maintain strong personal relationships/credibility with management and relevant stakeholders
- Proven self-starter with entrepreneurial DNA, coupled with the ability to fit into an existing structure within an established Company

Compensation
$300,000 - $350,000 salary, in addition to a performance-based bonus and significant equity package
