As we continue to scale, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations, optimize capital structure, and position the company for a future successful transaction.
The ideal candidate is an experienced finance executive with extensive M&A, private equity, and debt financing experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This individual will be responsible for developing financial strategies, negotiating with banks, overseeing due diligence, and ensuring our financial infrastructure meets investor and lender expectations.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrivate Equity & M&A Readiness
- Lead financial strategy, valuation modeling, and due diligence in preparation for a major capital event.
- Serve as the primary finance contact for bankers, attorneys, auditors, and potential investors.
- Optimize financial reporting and controls to align with PE-backed standards.
- Oversee quality of earnings (QoE) preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP and private equity expectations.
Capital Markets, Banking & Debt Negotiations
- Negotiate and structure debt financing, including term loans, credit facilities, and alternative financing options to support aggressive growth.
- Manage relationships with banks, private lenders, and financial institutions to secure optimal capital structure and liquidity.
- Develop financial models to assess leverage, risk, and ROI for expansion and capital-intensive initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with covenants and financial agreements.
Financial Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Build a scalable finance and accounting infrastructure that supports rapid growth and multi-entity operations.
- Implement best-in-class financial controls, forecasting, and reporting to enhance financial transparency and decision-making.
- Develop a strong FP&A function, ensuring real-time financial insights into cash flow, margins, and EBITDA growth.
- Optimize working capital, cash flow management, and financial efficiencies.
- Oversee audit, tax, treasury, and regulatory compliance.
Strategic Growth & Business Optimization
- Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to drive profitable growth and strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate acquisition opportunities, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
- Ensure risk management strategies are in place to protect company assets and investments.
- Serve as a financial thought leader, advising on pricing strategies, cost controls, and revenue optimization.
Key Qualifications
- 15+ years of financial leadership experience, with a strong background in private equity transactions, M&A, and high-growth companies.
- Proven track record in negotiating and securing large-scale financing (bank loans, credit facilities, structured debt, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of PE-backed financial operations, due diligence processes, and investor expectations.
- Experience in scaling finance functions, implementing robust financial controls, and managing multi-entity businesses.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and risk assessment skills.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
