As we scale our Good, Better, Best robotics product line and launch industry-specific AI assistants, we seek a strategic CFO to lead our financial vision, capital allocation, and risk management across diverse verticals.
Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking CFO to drive financial strategy, fundraising, and operational efficiency across our portfolio companies. The CFO will oversee capital structuring, financial forecasting, investor relations, and regulatory compliance, ensuring sustainable growth in AI, robotics, specialty agriculture, and e-commerce.
The ideal candidate has experience scaling tech-driven businesses, securing venture funding, and managing financial operations in R&D-heavy sectors. They will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to build a highly profitable, future-focused financial framework that enables autonomous specialty farming, AI-driven commerce, and advanced robotic manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities - Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute a multi-venture financial strategy for AI, robotics, agriculture, and manufacturing.
- Optimize capital allocation across Cawthon Capital’s diverse business units.
- Lead financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning to support long-term business objectives.
- Establish and refine pricing models for robotics products ($10K, $20K, $30K tiers) and AI subscription services.
Fundraising & Investor Relations
- Lead venture capital fundraising efforts for Streamline Robotics and Good AI, securing institutional and strategic investors.
- Build relationships with banks, private equity firms, and government agencies to leverage grants, loans, and tax credits for R&D-heavy businesses.
- Craft compelling financial narratives for investors, showcasing AI-driven automation’s market potential.
Financial Operations & Compliance
- Implement AI-driven financial analytics for real-time cash flow and profitability tracking.
- Oversee financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance across multiple industries.
- Ensure regulatory adherence in cannabis, AI software, and agricultural automation.
- Optimize supply chain and cost-accounting structures for precision manufacturing and autonomous farming.
Risk Management & Cybersecurity
- Identify financial risks in R&D-heavy and tech-driven businesses and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement financial controls to safeguard IP and proprietary crop-handling software.
- Ensure cybersecurity compliance for AI-driven commerce and robotic systems.
Cross-Sector Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering teams on robotics cost structures and manufacturing scalability.
- Collaborate with AI developers to commercialize Good AI’s industry-specific assistants.
- Align financial strategy with Streamline Farms’ profitability and expansion goals.
- Oversee a cross-functional finance team managing cash flow, budgets, and financial planning.
Qualifications & Experience
- 15+ years of experience in finance, venture capital, or CFO roles in tech-driven businesses.
- Strong background in fundraising, capital markets, and venture-backed growth.
- Experience in robotics, AI, manufacturing, or specialty agriculture preferred.
- Expertise in financial modeling, cost accounting, and strategic budgeting.
- Knowledge of supply chain economics, tax credits for R&D, and regulatory compliance.
- Passion for AI-driven automation, autonomous farming, and local commerce reinvention.
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in high-growth startups, ag-tech, or robotics companies.
