Revenue Operations Analyst

Goodheart-Willcox Publisher, Experts in Career and Technical Education (CTE), and an employee-owned company, is seeking a Revenue Operations Analyst. This role is essential in building internal capabilities and business systems to develop the most effective and efficient way to grow every channel. The Revenue Operations Analyst will contribute to the overall success of the entire sales and operations organization and help drive sales excellence. Chicagoland candidates will follow a hybrid schedule, working at least two days per month in our Tinley Park, Illinois office.
Our compensation is market based and takes into account a variety of factors including the candidate’s skill set, experience level, internal equity, and location. For this position, we anticipate the starting salary falling between $59,600-$79,700 per year. In addition, the company makes a 10% contribution to the Employee Stock Ownership Plan and a 4% matching contribution to the 401(k).
What you’ll do:
- Generate and analyze sales, revenue, market impact, and additional reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide weekly reporting on key metrics including Sales funnel, Conversion of pipeline, Customer support, Renewal analysis and Performance tracking.
- Engage with other operations leads to develop and maintain internal systems and data sources including customer master, item master, and CRM.
- Provide insights into the development of dashboards and resources, and existing report distribution to meet organizational data needs and accessibility goals.
- Collect and analyze customer data and provide actionable insights.
- Create and distribute organizational scorecards and align with leadership and cross functional teams to interpret and utilize the information.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against targets.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or data analytics.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with CRM systems and data reporting required. NetSuite CRM experience is a plus.
- Strong working experience with Excel and other data management solutions.
- Excellent analytical thinker who understands and can communicate insights from data sets.
