The Opportunity
Finatal is partnering with a Private Equity firm to find a CFO for a professional services buy-and-build. The role would suit someone with a background in a white-collar professional services sector, with extensive experience of acquisitions in PE environments.
Prior experience as a CFO or Finance Director in a PE-backed business is required.
The Role
- Drive M&A activity, helping to identify and acquire new businesses in the £300k-£3m EBITDA range
- Post-acquisition integration of bolt-ons
- Work with the Board and PE Investors to set short, medium, and long-term financial strategy
- Create and execute a rapid growth strategy
- Recruit and manage a finance team
Requirements
- Track record as a CFO or FD in Private Equity backed businesses
- Deep experience in professional services environments such as accounting, law, consulting
- Extensive experience of making acquisitions within a PE environment
- Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
