Our client, a fast growing business in Warner Robins, GA, has created a new position for CFO.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring financial stability, and driving long-term financial strategy. This role includes comprehensive oversight of day-to-day accounting activities—ensuring accurate, efficient processing of transactions, reconciliations, and record-keeping. The CFO provides leadership in financial planning, risk management, compliance, and financial reporting, while also developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth and optimize profitability.
The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the financial health of the company. The CFO will be a key member of the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and long-term objectives.
- Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, regulatory compliance, tax and treasury management.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the leadership team, and other stakeholders.
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Manage cash flow and capital structure to ensure financial stability and liquidity.
- Oversee compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
- Establish and maintain relationships with investors, banks, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Identify and manage financial risks, including economic and market fluctuations.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements across the organization.
- Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and business expansion.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
- Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and risk management.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in service delivery firms. Experience in IT service organizations or telecommunications service a plus.
- Background in mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, or investor relations.
- Knowledge of emerging financial technologies and digital transformation in finance.
- Experience with Xero and QuickBooks a plus.
- Experience with Halo PSA a plus.
- Experience importing/exporting transactional data and integration between software platforms.
- Strong customer relationship skills

- Strong computer skills and the ability to effectively communicate through e-mail
- Willingness to develop professionally
- Strong leadership, coaching, and organizational skills
