The Deal Desk Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by managing the review and approval process for sales terms and conditions. This role involves working closely with the sales, finance, legal, and other departments to ensure that deals are structured in compliance with company policies and optimized for profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
As Deal Desk Specialist you will have to
- Maintain and update Deal Desk processes and documentation.
- Archive and file sales-related contracts in the document management software (ContractWorks, Salesforce).
- Align with internal and external stakeholders, using effective communication to quickly resolve contract-related issues while fostering productive and positive interactions.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, legal, logistics, and other departments.
- Handle related administrative tasks associated with sales for the Quebec business unit (Eddyfi Technologies) and lead various special projects supporting the Director and Vice President.
- Review customer sales terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and terms.
- Organize sales terms and conditions review meetings with the sales and legal teams.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team regarding contractual terms.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of sales orders and contracts.
- Draft, review, and proofread documents such as distribution agreements, amendments, and letters.
- Ensure agreements comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Complete supplier forms according to the selling entity (electronic document or website).
- Maintain up-to-date supplier sites (Ariba, Coupa, etc.).
- Maintain a repository with all relevant information (legal entity information, passwords).
- Confirm the end user and final use of the product, following the process outlined in internal guidelines.
What Makes You An Asset To Our Team
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar Deal Desk, sales operations, or related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong computer skills: CRM and ERP software, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet proficiency.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks with great attention to detail.
- Customer and service-oriented mindset (dedicated to business relationship excellence!).
- Proactive and capable of having fun at work.
- Experience in the technology or software industry.
