Watsons, an established firm of Chartered Surveyors, is inviting applications for the role of Business Operations Associate. We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual with a strong emphasis on IT project management and exceptional organisational skills.
In this role, your primary objective will be to drive continuous improvement and ensure that we exceed our clients' expectations in every project, particularly in the realm of information technology and PropTech.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will engage in a diverse range of projects, collaborating with various departments in the organisation to help achieve their strategic objectives. Your ability to promote teamwork will be crucial as you oversee and participate in multiple workstreams.
- Working alongside the Senior IT Manager, you will ensure that IT helpdesk responses and business projects are executed efficiently and consistently, aligning with the needs of key stakeholders.
- Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities for project optimisation, utilising tools like Asana to monitor progress and outcomes, and actioning tasks and system requirements.
- Maintaining high standards is essential; you will play an integral role in our compliance and governance efforts to meet these requirements.
- Your tasks will vary widely, encompassing everything from administrative duties to the development of new business initiatives, all aimed at supporting the delivery of strategic solutions and leading working parties.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience in a professional services role, particularly with a focus on IT project management.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- A strong understanding of IT systems and process improvement, with familiarity in platforms like Salesforce, Qube, and Microsoft Teams seen as advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, which are essential for effective collaboration and clear documentation of business processes.
- An agile and adaptable mindset, enabling you to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, allowing you to tackle technical and operational challenges in an effective and creative manner.
- Experience in the property industry would be beneficial, though not essential.
