Position Overview:
Our fast-growing, multi-location dental group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading financial operations in a dynamic, rapidly expanding healthcare or dental environment, with a focus on acquisitions and a successful history of taking companies to IPO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management for a multi-location dental group, including financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
- Lead strategic planning for growth, acquisitions, and capital structure optimization.
- Manage and enhance accounting processes and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Act as a key advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, providing financial insights and recommendations for business strategies and decision-making.
- Lead due diligence and financial integration for mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and procedures to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks.
- Prepare financial models and business plans to support IPO readiness and growth strategies.
- Ensure financial systems and reporting are in place for scalability as the company continues to expand.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within the healthcare or dental sector.
- Extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, and IPO processes.
- Proven ability to manage financial operations and drive growth in a multi-location, fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and accounting principles.
- Experience working with private equity-backed companies and preparing for public offerings.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, financial modeling, and business analysis skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Location:
The ideal candidate should be located within commuting distance of Southwest Virginia, including Northern Virginia, Richmond, Hampton Roads, Raleigh, or Charlotte.
