Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy and operations. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of our organization, ensuring robust financial health, and driving sustainable growth. This executive will oversee all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the financial strategy of the organization to support its overall business objectives.
- Oversee all financial accounting, including payroll, expense management, and corporate accounting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and adherence to IAS and IFRS standards.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Manage budgeting processes and financial forecasting to optimize resource allocation.
- Implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with other executives to align financial goals with operational strategies.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for stakeholders, including board members and investors.
- Lead audits and ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards as necessary.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations affecting the finance sector and adapt strategies accordingly.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of IAS, IFRS, ASC 606, and governmental accounting principles.
- Proficient in market analysis techniques to inform strategic decision-making.
- Must have a strong commitment to renewable energy and climate change and be able to represent our company to the public.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial accounting practices and expense management strategies.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing finance teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
- People Orientated with and understanding of sales and marketing application.
