About Lumida:
Lumida is an AI-native modern wealth advisor and Wealth Architect for owners and creators.
Our mission is to make money intelligent. We bring investing, trust and estate planning, and tax strategy together in a single wealth architecture—helping clients grow, protect, and transfer wealth with greater intention.
Our investment platform spans public markets and differentiated alternatives including select pre-IPO opportunities for qualified clients. Our approach is institutional in its breadth, non-consensus in its thinking, and deeply personal in its application.
Lumida is a tech-first, AI-native firm built by a technology founder. We are making significant investments in proprietary AI Services that identify opportunities across a client’s financial life, strengthen investment research, automate client-service workflows, and help our advisors deliver faster, smarter, and more personalized advice.
Our team shares the mindset of our clients: curious, original, and driven to build what does not yet exist. Lumida is venture-backed, with investors including former SEC Chairman Arthur Levitt, and supported by a leadership and advisory network with deep experience across investing, technology, and financial services.
Lumida’s differentiated, non-consensus insights reach a broad audience through our podcast, newsletter, and social media, with recognition across major outlets including The Wall Street Journal and CNBC.
The Role
Lumida is hiring a high-agency Business Operations Leader to serve as a force multiplier for the CEO and help build the operating system for our next stage of growth.
This is not a coordination role. You will take ambiguous priorities, create structure, build the workflows, align teams, and drive measurable results. Your mandate spans three connected areas:
- CEO Office and strategic execution
- AI transformation across the company
- Growth Operations across sales, marketing, investor relations, and community
You should be equally comfortable building a financial model, implementing an AI workflow, reviewing a Meta campaign funnel, preparing an investor update, and holding owners accountable to a deadline.
What You’ll OwnCEO Office and Strategic Execution
- Partner closely with the CEO on capital raising, investor storytelling, data-room management, financial forecasting, board and investor communications, and strategic initiatives.
- Turn company priorities into clear operating plans, owners, timelines, KPIs, and weekly execution rhythms.
- Lead cross-functional projects from diagnosis through implementation, with a bias toward speed, rigor, and measurable outcomes.
- Build decision-support materials, analyses, and operating dashboards that help leadership allocate capital and attention effectively.
AI Transformation
- Lead Lumida’s AI transformation across client service, sales operations, marketing, recruiting, research, content production, and internal knowledge management.
- Identify high-value workflows, redesign them with AI, implement the tools and operating procedures, and measure adoption and business impact.
- Develop a practical AI roadmap: what should be automated, augmented, standardized, or kept human.
- Train teams to use AI effectively and establish quality-control standards.
Sales and Growth Operations
- Design and own the sales-operations function, including pipeline hygiene, lead routing, reporting, CRM workflows, conversion analysis, SDR operations, and AI-enabled prospecting.
- Establish the systems, scorecards, and cadence required to improve lead response, meeting conversion, qualification, sales productivity, and revenue visibility.
- Build and manage a small Growth Operations team over time, including SDRs and Sales Operations personnel.
- Partner with leadership to create a closed-loop growth engine linking marketing spend, lead quality, CRM activity, booked meetings, qualified opportunities, and client outcomes.
Marketing and Community
- Lead the operating cadence for marketing: goals, briefs, calendars, analytics, experimentation, and performance reviews.
- Partner with the marketing team on brand, creative quality, messaging, and execution—while remaining hands-on when needed.
- Build data-driven acquisition and retention frameworks across Meta, Google PPC, email, content, community, and organic social.
- Improve the Lumida Non-Consensus Investing podcast, newsletter, and community-engagement engine using AI, editorial systems, and performance analytics.
- Lead communications and engagement with Lumida’s 100,000+ investor community, turning audience attention into durable trust, qualified conversations, and long-term relationships.
Investor Relations
- Establish a disciplined investor-relations program for existing investors and Community Round investors.
- Create a regular cadence of investor updates, key-metric reporting, product and company milestones, and high-quality follow-up.
- Build relationships with investors and identify ways Lumida’s investor community can contribute capital, talent, partnerships, and strategic insight.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 90 days, you will have:
- Built a clear company operating cadence, including priority tracking, KPI reporting, and cross-functional accountability.
- Audited the highest-value AI opportunities and launched initial workflows in at least two core functions.
- Established clean sales and marketing funnel reporting from spend and lead source through qualified opportunity and revenue.
- Improved the cadence and quality of CEO, investor, and community communications.
Within 12 months, you will have:
- Helped build an AI-enabled operating model that materially improves team speed, quality, and capacity.
- Created a disciplined Sales and Growth Operations function with clear ownership, dashboards, workflows, and team routines.
- Built a measurable growth engine connecting marketing investment to qualified meetings, pipeline, and revenue.
- Become a trusted execution partner to the CEO on Lumida’s most important strategic priorities.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in business operations, chief of staff, growth operations, management consulting, startup strategy, or a similarly demanding operating role.
- A demonstrated record of taking messy, ambiguous problems and turning them into systems, decisions, and results.
- Hands-on fluency with modern AI tools and a conviction that AI will reshape how knowledge work is performed. You do not need to be an engineer, but you must be able to design, implement, test, and improve AI-enabled workflows.
- Strong analytical ability: financial modeling, forecasting, funnel analysis, KPI design, and structured problem-solving.
- Experience with CRM, sales operations, lifecycle marketing, paid acquisition, or growth analytics. Familiarity with HubSpot, Meta Ads, Google Ads, ROAS, and conversion measurement is strongly preferred.
- Strong written communication and storytelling skills, including investor materials, operating updates, and executive-level presentations.
- Excellent judgment, taste, attention to detail, and comfort moving between strategic work and unglamorous execution.
- High integrity, resilience, ownership, and comfort with direct feedback.
- Interest in fintech, investing, entrepreneurship, and the future of wealth management.
