Position Purpose:
Directs and coordinates operational efforts to ensure sales and retention goals are achieved. Ensures customers are provided support needed and direct implementation of new business.
Logistics
This is a full-time position working (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm working
on-site at
4101 Percival Rd. Columbia SC, in an office environment.
What You Will Do
- Resolves escalations and directs day to day operations of client teams.
- Serves as marketing management lead for client reporting, Group Library, Group Collect, dotR monitoring, performance guarantees, shared savings programs, NDA and other legal interactions.
- Directs and identifies training needs for the staff.
- Serves as marketing lead for internal projects.
- Represents marketing needs and navigates process improvements.
- Recommends adjustments to products and services to maintain alignment with the market.
- Develop policies and procedures and communicates expectations to staff.
- Recruits/selects/develops/guides staff and ensures excellent customer service is given to employees, customers, management, etc.
- Monitors department performance and productivity. May develop policies/procedures and communicates any changes/updates to staff.
- Ensures quality standards are met and identifies training needs of staff.
- Evaluates marketing strategies/plans to meet ever-changing market and competitive conditions. Develops and recommends sales strategies, marketing plans and related changes necessary to reach goals and objectives.
To Qualify For This Position, You Will Need
- Education: Bachelor's degree- Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or related field.
- Degree Equivalency: Associates degree and two years of relevant experience and/or 2 years' experience at the rank of E4 or above.
- Work Experience: 8 years-marketing, sales, or communications experience. 3 years-supervisory or lead role experience or equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above (may be concurrent with the 8 years).
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, analytical or critical thinking, project management, and customer service skills. Good judgment. Ability to lead, train, and direct others.
- Software and Tools: Microsoft Office.
- License and Certificate: Insurance sales or agent's license.
