About the role
We're looking for our first Sales Operations hire, reporting directly to our CFO. You've seen best practices in sales operations and are excited to build the groundwork of this function. You'll connect sales, finance, and operations through best-in-class systems while analyzing and sharing valuable insights into sales strategy and performance. You're curious, hands-on, and eager to expand beyond your core domain. You have a critical eye for process optimization and the technical ability to manage data and systems. You thrive in a low structure high impact environment where you can grow and shape the role.
What you’ll do
- Act as the primary Salesforce Admin with a focus on optimizing current processes and systems to improve operational efficiency, sales effectiveness, and scalability
- Lead the implementation and integration of sales systems with cross-functional tools to ensure accurate data flows and reporting
- Develop and manage performance reports and dashboards sharing strategic KPIs and metrics across the company
- Support the design and execution of sales commission plans, ensuring accurate and timely payouts
- Oversee pipeline management and accuracy of sales forecasts driven by data analyses
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Experience teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
- Manage end-to-end quote to cash process
- Support order management and vendor onboarding
- Implement and maintain integrations related to sales and finance (for example CRM integration to ERP)
- Utilize internal tools to track enterprise customer usage trends
- Ensure accurate billing for all enterprise customers by streamlining billing operations
- Drive timely collection of outstanding balances
What you’ll need
- Experience: 2-3+ years at a sales operations role in a high growth software or technology company; experience in SaaS or subscription-based businesses is a plus
- Salesforce Expertise – Proven experience in Salesforce setup, configuration, maintenance, and reporting (Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus).
- Data Management & Analytics – Strong analytical skills with experience in building dashboards, reports, and data models within Salesforce (BI tools is a plus)
- Sales Enablement Tools – Familiarity with sales enablement platforms (such as Outreach, Gong) and CRM integrations.
- Process Improvement & Automation – Experience optimizing sales processes through automation (e.g., workflows, triggers, validation rules, and third-party integrations).
- Sales & Business Acumen – Understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and sales performance metrics to support revenue growth.
- Technical Proficiency – Knowledge of Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables), and data visualization tools
- A passion for problem-solving and simplifying complexity
