Job Description Summary
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a motivated, performance-driven Director of Business Operations to join our team. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that administrative and operational functions are provided across all service lines and teams in an efficient and effective manner. In addition, you will be responsible for service delivery through management, provide oversight for operations functions and staff throughout the sub-region, and will work closely with leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
Job Description
Responsible for one or more of the following:
- Work closely with the C&W account team and client to understand needs and provide technical solutions with existing technology platform or by identifying new solutions.
- Manage Business Intelligence and Technology resources responsible for administration of multiple CRE tools and account wide reporting, including BI reporting.
- Develop annual business plans and operations plan, stating priorities, timelines and responsibilities.
- Spearhead training and engagement programs for employees and coordinate appropriately.
- Review monthly and annual operating reports; coordinate with Finance in the preparation of forecasts, budgets, etc. which includes preparing monthly reports, assessing variances and performance to plan for the region and individual business lines.
- Implement programs to ensure that Cushman & Wakefield is recognized as an industry leader as well as a best place to work.
- Collaborate in the development of strategic planning with the leadership team and develop short- and long-range operating objectives, policies and programs.
- Assist in the preparation of RFP response materials, as required
- Creatively solve problems to ensure appropriate accountability is maintained with respective workstreams and are operating in an efficient and effective manner.
- Provide informal leadership, mentoring and supervision to the staff.
- Organize, assist, oversee and lead internal meetings and events, including the development of the agenda and schedules.
- Collaborate with counterparts in other workstreams in order to learn and utilize best operational practices and offer innovation to the market
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor Degree (Masters Degree preferred)
- 8-10 years of related experience or training
- Or any similar combination of education and experience
Knowledge And Experience
- Understanding of Azure cloud, services architecture, SOX, SOC1/SOC2 compliance principles
- Experience with Real Estate applications including Yardi Systems, Costar, CAFM/Serraview, and CMMS tools
- Understanding of Business Intelligence & Reporting Platforms (Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience managing enterprise grade windows and web-based applications using Microsoft technologies; SharePoint, Visual Studio .NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET and MS SQL Server as well as other web-based technologies including JavaScript, JSON and Web Services.
- Highly analytical, organized and detail oriented with strong math and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret information, data and related documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Self-motivated and work independently to find solutions
- Strong organization skills with the flexibility to handle multiple tasks
- Building and managing diverse relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational savvy, emotional intelligence, keen judgment and problem solving ability
- Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
- Demonstrated adherence to the highest ethical standards and professionalism

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
