Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, a minimum of 5

years of for-profit hospital finance experience, and a minimum of 3 years of

supervisory experience.

Our client is seeking an Assistant CFO to oversee the financial operations of their

hospital system. This key position is responsible for managing the hospital's

investments, overseeing the Finance Department, and ensuring the accuracy and

timeliness of financial reports, including monthly statements, annual audits, and

budgets. The Assistant CFO will establish systems to verify the integrity of all financial

data and processes, enhancing company value, and will guide the implementation of

decision support systems.

Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating financial operations to control

revenue and expenditures, preparing for annual audits, and ensuring compliance with

governmental and third-party regulations. The role also involves cash forecasting,

preparing the operating budget with department heads, and monitoring reimbursement methodologies to assess their impact on the institution.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a Master's

preferred, and CPA certification is also preferred. The candidate should have at least

five years of for-profit hospital experience, including three years in a supervisory role.

The Assistant CFO is expected to possess critical thinking skills, the ability to work

independently under stress, and foster an environment that encourages professional

growth.
