We are seeking experienced finance leaders who have reached the CFO level (or equivalent) to step into a critical leadership role. This individual will replace a long-tenured retiring CFO and partner closely with ownership and executive leadership to support the company’s next phase of growth and operational evolution.

The business operates in a mission-critical, service-oriented B2B environment characterized by recurring revenue, asset intensity, and a sizable frontline workforce.

Leadership is focused on driving margin improvement, optimizing pricing strategies, and deploying capital effectively to support long-term value creation.
Role Overview
The Chief Financial Officer will serve as the senior financial executive and a key partner to the executive leadership team. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational involvement, with a strong emphasis on pricing strategy, capital allocation, and margin expansion.
The CFO will oversee all core finance functions, including accounting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury, while playing a central role in driving profitability, improving operational efficiency, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership for all financial operations, reporting, and planning
- Lead pricing strategy and analysis to enhance revenue quality and profitability
- Drive margin improvement initiatives, including cost structure optimization and operational efficiency efforts
- Oversee capital allocation and capex planning, ensuring disciplined investment decisions and strong returns
- Optimize cash flow, working capital, and overall capital efficiency
- Serve as a strategic advisor to ownership and executive leadership on financial and operational performance
- Lead systems modernization, reporting enhancements, and process automation
- Build, develop, and retain a high-performing finance organization (including future Controller hire)
- Oversee vendor relationships and external partners
- Provide oversight of enterprise risk, compliance, and related corporate functions
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience at the CFO level (or equivalent) within an operationally complex organization
- Strong background in multi-site, service-oriented, or asset-intensive businesses
- Experience leading finance functions in environments requiring both strategic leadership and hands-on execution
- Strong command of financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, and business analytics
- Proven ability to partner with ownership and executive teams to influence business outcomes
- Experience scaling systems, processes, and teams to support growth
- Exposure to cross-functional leadership (e.g., IT, HR, operations support) is advantageous
