Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Property Development Company | Texarkana, TX

We’re looking for a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a growing property development company in Texarkana, TX. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys being involved in both big-picture strategy and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Provide strategic financial guidance to ownership and senior leadership to support growth and profitability goals.
Manage cash flow, financing, and investment activities for current and future development projects.
Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate project performance, returns, and risk.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial and tax regulations.
Collaborate with lenders, investors, and key partners to secure project funding and manage relationships.
Lead financial due diligence and analysis for new acquisitions or development opportunities.
Supervise and develop accounting/finance team members.
Implement and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.
8+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within real estate, construction, or property development.
Strong understanding of project financing, capital management, and real estate investment principles.
Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
