We are looking for an experienced Fractional Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership for our construction and real estate company. In this long-term contract role, you will work closely with senior leadership to drive financial planning, compliance, and operational excellence. This position offers flexibility while enabling you to apply your expertise in optimizing profitability and guiding the organization toward sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals and industry-specific needs.
• Create detailed financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support project planning and decision-making.
• Manage cash flow processes, including payroll, vendor payments, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports, metrics, and dashboards to inform key business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and audit requirements specific to construction and real estate.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability across projects and operations.
• Assess financial feasibility for acquisitions, development projects, and partnerships to support growth initiatives.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to finance team members to strengthen operational capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of senior financial experience, preferably in construction and real estate industries.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax codes, and compliance standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
• Expertise in financial reporting, tax preparation, and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and financial statement preparation.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to convey complex financial concepts to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with construction accounting and commercial real estate practices.
