Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Yakima, WA
About Us
We are a locally owned vertically integrated apple growing and packing operation. We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer to lead our finance and accounting functions and partner with ownership to drive growth and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a key advisor to ownership and member of the executive team
- Lead all financial functions: accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and compliance
- Manage cash flow, credit facilities, and financing strategies across multiple entities
- Provide timely financial insights to guide decision-making and improve operational performance
- Build strong relationships with owners, lenders, auditors, and business partners
- Lead and develop the accounting and IT teams
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred; MBA a plus)
- 7+ years progressive financial leadership experience (agriculture/production experience strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, cash management, and cost accounting
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP/financial systems experience (Famous software a plus)
- Proven leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 DOE
