About The Role
As GO.FARM’s Chief Financial Officer you will be a hands-on executive, responsible for leading the company’s financial governance, enterprise systems, data and IT strategy, and overall corporate performance. This includes managing internal and external financial reporting, compliance, risk, treasury and capital management, and enabling operational excellence through system innovation and data-driven insights.
You will lead the Finance Team, oversee IT and data systems, and play a critical role as a strategic partner to the Managing Director and Executive Team, supporting sound decision-making across the business.
This role is pivotal to enabling GO.FARM’s continued growth by embedding financial and operational discipline, coaching a high-performing team, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
This executive role provides strategic leadership across GO.FARM’s financial governance, data and IT strategy, and business growth. You’ll lead and develop a high-performing Finance team, provide expert oversight of accounting and tax matters, drive our data and digital strategy, and ensure regulatory compliance is embedded across the organisation.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals to effectively execute the company's investment strategy.
- Foster a culture of innovation, performance, and ethical conduct within the investment team, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Partner with the Managing Director and Executive Team to develop and deliver on corporate strategy.
- Drive long-term financial planning, forecasting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide financial insights and scenario analysis to support investments, capital allocation, and corporate development.
Financial Governance
- Lead financial operations, including accounting, tax, audit, and financial reporting across GO.FARM and its investment entities.
- Ensure timely, accurate reporting to the Board, investors and regulators.
- Manage external auditor and bank relationships.
Treasury and Capital Management
- Manage cash flow, liquidity and capital structure to support growth.
- Lead the planning and execution of funding initiatives, including refinancing processes and debt structuring to optimise capital efficiency and support growth.
Data and IT
- Champion data as a business asset, enabling proactive risk management, investor reporting, and strategic decision-making.
- Lead the design and execution of GO.FARM's data and IT strategy to enable scalable growth, operational efficiency, secure systems and high-quality insights.
- Ensure systems are fit-for-purpose and integrated across the enterprise to support automation, forecasting, benchmarking and performance reporting.
- Oversee the relationship and performance of GO.FARM's external IT Managed Service Provider to ensure robust, reliable and secure technology infrastructure.
Regulatory and Compliance
- Embed a strong internal control environment, including compliance with the Delegations Policy.
- Lead GO.FARM regulatory compliance requirements including AFSL obligations.
- Oversee corporate risk management frameworks in conjunction with the Executive and Board.
Learning & Development

- Keep abreast and develop knowledge of new tax, accounting or financial analysis to improve your own personal development and the greater business.
- Develop a process of coaching and skill transfer to other staff within the business so as to confidently allow support and backup for all key responsibilities.
