CTC: 2 lakhs to 4 lakhs
Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic CFO to oversee all financial aspects of our fast-growing construction company. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, risk management, funding strategies, cost control, and compliance, ensuring the company’s financial health and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy & Business Growth
· Develop long-term financial strategies aligned with business goals.
· Analyse market trends, project feasibility, and investment opportunities.
· Advise the board on mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
2. Financial Planning & Budgeting
· Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
· Monitor project-wise financial performance and profitability.
· Ensure optimal capital structure (debt-equity management).
3. Fundraising & Banking Relations
· Secure project financing (term loans, working capital, NBFC funding).
· Negotiate with banks, PE firms, and investors for better terms.
· Manage relationships with financial institutions and credit rating agencies.
4. Cost Control & Profitability
· Implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality.
· Oversee tendering, contract pricing, and bid evaluation.
· Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs across projects.
5. Financial Reporting & Compliance
· Ensure timely & accurate financial statements (monthly/quarterly/annual).
· Handle statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
· Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and Ind AS.
6. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
· Optimize cash flow to ensure smooth project execution.
· Manage receivables, payables, and inventory efficiently.
· Prevent fund blockages and liquidity crises.
7. Risk Management & Internal Controls
· Identify financial risks (currency fluctuations, interest rate risks, project delays).
· Implement strong internal controls to prevent fraud & leakage.
· Ensure insurance coverage for projects (performance bonds, bank guarantees).
8. Taxation & Legal Compliance
· Oversee direct & indirect tax planning (GST, TDS, Corporate Tax).
· Handle litigation related to financial & contractual disputes.
· Ensure compliance with RERA, SEBI (if listed), and Labour Laws.
9. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
· Lead the finance, accounts, and taxation teams.
· Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and procurement.
· Present financial reports to board members, investors, and banks.
