Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and strategy to join our growing, multi-division team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate finance, budgeting, and risk management. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities and a keen understanding of business development to drive financial growth and ensure the organization’s fiscal health. The Director of Finance will oversee all financial aspects, including account reconciliation, accounts receivable, and investment strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's business goals.
- Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Manage account reconciliation processes to maintain accurate financial records.
- Lead the finance team in monitoring cash flow, investments, and financial performance.
- Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business development initiatives through sound financial practices.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
Requirements
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in finance, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership or management role
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, and relevant certification (e.g., CPA) is required
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting systems.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a strategic focus.

- Experience in the financial management of Canadian and US entities.
Compensation for this position is commensurate and negotiable based on experience.
Pay: $150,000.00-$175,000.00 per year
