Job Title: Director of Sales Operations

Reports to: General Manager / Regional Director of Sales & Marketing
Compensation: $58,000 – $68,000 annually + commission & performance incentives
OverviewDoubleTree by Hilton Hattiesburg is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales Operations to lead our sales strategy, maximize revenue, and ensure exceptional guest and client experiences. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in outside sales, B2B relationship management, hospitality leadership, and technology-driven marketing solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can inspire teams, forge strong client partnerships, and align sales operations with the hotel’s overall growth objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed hotel revenue targets.
- Lead and manage outside sales teams to drive corporate, group, and event bookings.
- Expand B2B relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, sports teams, associations, and event planners.
- Partner with the marketing team to execute targeted campaigns that increase market visibility and occupancy rates.
Operational Excellence & Performance Management
- Oversee daily sales operations, ensuring effective use of Salesforce or equivalent CRM to track performance and manage accounts.
- Analyze sales metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Negotiate group, corporate, and event contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through proactive account management.
- Ensure exceptional service standards that align with Hilton brand values and create loyalty among guests and partners.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that supports Hilton’s commitment to hospitality excellence.
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven leadership experience in hotel sales operations or hospitality management.
- Strong track record in outside sales and B2B negotiations with measurable revenue growth results.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
