As we continue to expand our services and footprint, we are seeking a strategic, highly analytical, and hands-on Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team. Position Overview:
The CFO will oversee all financial operations of the practice, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, revenue cycle strategy, and compliance. You will work closely with leadership across departments to optimize financial performance, support strategic initiatives, and ensure the sustainability of the organization as we expand locations and service lines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
- Minimum 2–5 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in multi-site medical or dermatology practice
- Deep knowledge of healthcare financial regulations, payer contracting, and reimbursement models
- Proficiency with accounting and EHR/PM systems (experience with ModMed and Sage is a plus)
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with short- and long-term organizational goals
- Serve as financial advisor to the CEO and executive team on strategic planning, expansion opportunities, and capital investments
- Drive financial modeling, forecasting, and multi-site profitability analysis
Accounting & Reporting
- Responsible for daily, monthly and annual accounting operations, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Prepare and present timely, accurate financial reports to leadership
· Analyze the revenue, costs, and profitability of current services in practice.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis by location, providing senior leaders with actionable insights and strategic analysis
· Partner with operations to ensure accurate financial tracking of clinics, providers, and services
- Coordinate development of dashboards, trend reports, and key performance indicators to support executive decision-making
Revenue Cycle Oversight
· Collaborate closely with the Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee and enhance all revenue cycle operations
· Partner with the RCM to optimize payer reimbursement strategies and improve overall financial performance
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Collaborate with the executive team to strategically optimize revenue streams and operational efficiencies, with the goal of maximizing profitability and sustainable growth
- Develop forecasting tools to support proactive decision-making
- Responsible for developing pro forma financial analyses for potential new service lines and other strategic practice initiatives to support informed decision-making and drive growth.
Audit & Risk Management
- Manage external audits, tax preparation, and compliance with healthcare financial regulations (e.g., CMS, Stark, HIPAA financial compliance)
