Executive Leadership Role | Respected, South Australian NDIS Provider
Our client, Novita is one of South Australia’s largest and most respected disability service providers, delivering life-changing support to more than 5,000 people across metropolitan and regional communities. With a history dating back to 1939, Novita offers a comprehensive range of services including therapy, assistive technology, community programs and supported accommodation. Their multidisciplinary team of professionals work alongside individuals and families to deliver personalised, innovative solutions that empower people living with a disability to achieve their goals and live their best lives.
The opportunity has emerged for the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the strategic and operational management of Novita’s corporate services functions including finance, information technology, procurement, facilities and infrastructure. Ensuring sound governance, compliance and the highest standards of corporate accountability, the CFO will also act as Company Secretary for the organisation and its subsidiaries.
In driving financial sustainability, operational efficiency and strategic performance across Novita, the CFO will lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and capital investment, while maintaining robust internal controls, risk frameworks and financial reporting systems, and oversee the delivery of efficient, secure and cost-effective corporate services, driving innovation, process improvement and technology-enabled solutions, and the effective management and maintenance of facilities and assets that meet operational needs. Forming an integral part of a highly specialised Executive Leadership Team (ELT), with direct responsibility to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the CFO will foster a culture of excellence, accountability and collaboration, building and leading high performing teams and promoting cross-divisional cooperation.
This role demands an appropriately qualified, commercially astute and visionary leader with a proven track record in leading strategic financial management in complex, mission-driven environments, ideally within an analogous sector, coupled with a deep knowledge of NDIS funding, financial governance, compliance and regulatory frameworks or, alternatively, demonstrates agility, insight and leadership acumen to transition seamlessly into the sector. Uniting your strategic vision with hands-on capability, you will ensure financial strength and operational agility in positioning Novita for continued, long-term success.
