One of our Tribal partners in Klamath County is hiring for a CFO. The ideal individual will have a strong understanding of grants, indirect costs and the nuances of working with Tribal governments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as key member of Budget Committee including attending monthly meetings
- Ensuring financial systems and framework are in place and functioning efficiently
- Developing, implementing and maintaining financial policies and procedures
- Supervising multiple departments including accounting, procurement/purchasing, property management, etc.
- Oversee financial forecasting, planning and analysis
- Maintaining and developing fund accounting system
- Support the financial planning and analysis efforts
- Oversee cash flow and cash management
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
- Manage relationships with banks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting of related field
- 5+ years of management-level experience
- Strong communication and management skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- CPA or MBA preferred but not required
