Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Dynamic Non-Profit
Our organization is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and provide strategic insight as we grow. This is a hands-on role where the CFO will manage all accounting functions while serving as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and board.
The ideal candidate is a financial leader and subject matter expert with a strong background in accounting, financial planning, and compliance. Beyond technical expertise, the CFO must be able to anticipate organizational needs, analyze complex data, and communicate actionable strategies that ensure financial health and advance our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting, budgeting, and reporting functions.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to guide decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide strategic insights to leadership and the board on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and mentor staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Partner with program leaders to align financial strategy with organizational goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- Proven experience managing nonprofit or corporate finance functions.
- Strong technical skills in accounting, compliance, and financial systems.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Ability to be a self starter and anticipate and act on needs, and the ability to work in a small company with an extremely robust balance sheet.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
