Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Financial Officer located in Raleigh, NC. The CFO will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, overseeing financial strategy, reporting, capital markets, and operational finance across all entities. The ideal candidate has deep experience in real estate private equity, fund management, construction and/or corporate finance, with the ability to scale a growing investment platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of corporate and fund accounting, reporting, and compliance.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the portfolio.
- Manage capital markets activities including lender and investor relations, debt structuring, and equity fundraising.
- Develop and implement internal controls, financial systems, and reporting dashboards to support growth.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate M&A opportunities, JV structures, and strategic investments.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive finance/accounting leadership, preferably in real estate private equity, investment management, or related industries.
- CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
- Experience raising capital and managing relationships with institutional investors and lenders.
- Proven ability to design scalable financial infrastructure and reporting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
