Job Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization for an FQHC. This role involves strategic financial planning, risk management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The CFO will lead budgeting processes, financial reporting, and analysis to support business development and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the FQHC corporate finance, accounting principles, and fiscal management.
Duties
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial accounting, non-profit accounting, and governmental accounting.
- Manage mergers & acquisitions processes to enhance organizational growth.
- Conduct market analysis and revenue management to optimize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with Audit standards.
- Lead risk analysis and management efforts to mitigate financial risks.
- Supervise treasury management and cash flow forecasting to maintain liquidity.
- Prepare and interpret financial reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Direct budgeting processes and expense management initiatives.
- Engage in negotiations related to business development opportunities.
- Provide leadership in financial planning, modeling, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage payroll processes and oversee cost control measures within the organization.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in financial operations through effective team leadership.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within an FQHC or health care industry.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in an FQHC or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles, fiscal management, and risk management strategies.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial report writing and interpretation.
- Experience with financial software systems that enhance operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with supply chain finance concepts and revenue cycle management is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough business analysis.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Supervising experience is essential for leading finance teams towards achieving organizational objectives. The Chief Financial Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's future through strategic financial leadership. Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
